Genetics and phenotypes that work
3 years old in picture, long, level, wide toped and with a butt!
In his working cloths but this guy is a monster of a Ram
Wide topped see out of HIJO B219
Great shedder! Lots of siblings in the barn!
Paragon 854, current sire to all our 2022 lambs. Heavily used at Riverwood and his daughters did very well in their dispersal sale. In his working cloths, a massive ram! Sold but we have some beautiful ewes out of this guy.
Lonestar 1622 "Bull", 2017 Reserve Champion Ram, Eastern State Exposition. RR son of "Nitro" is a producing sire. His lambs, grow fast, are long with a round and deep rear muscle. His ewe lambs develop some of the best udders and make plenty of milk to grow great lambs. He has really taken Highloft Farms in the right direction. We currently have 2 ewes out of him in our flock.
HIJO B219 Mysterio. This guy throws some of thick lambs, small size, but grow like weeds, square and round in the right places, and Glen has some awesome lambs out of him at Highloft Farms. He crosses great over the Bull and Gus daughters. We currently have 3 of his daughters in our flock.
New guy at Highloft farm. Lobdell Dorpers F1910, Doublewide. Another champion ram added to the stud lineup at Highloft Farms. We have a GIANT son of his working at the farm!
Powell Ranch 2469 "Gus". The old man at Highloft Farms, but continues to produce some very showy lambs. Puts that "look at me" style on his lambs, and there are some very nice Gus sons and daughters in The Highloft Farms barn.
We would like to thank Glen King at Highloft Farms. We work very close with him and his sister at their farm and they have become great friends of our family over the years. As far as the flock goes: the ewe flock and selection of rams they have are first class. Granite State Ted and all the other rams I listed have all contributed to the quality Highloft puts out.
