We keep 3 different Cock lines and have used 5 separate hen lines to put together our foundation breeding group.
Bielfelder Chickens. These large breed birds are autosexing at hatch, and have made great dual purpose birds for us here at Mumford Meadows. The hens take some time to start laying but lay a good size egg and once they start they lay for the year. They do not tend to go broody, and make great freezer birds at a young age.
